The Puget Sound High Value Network has finalized the negotiations of a four year contract with the Washington State Health Care Authority for state employees in the Puget Sound Region, for benefit year starting 2016. The intent of the contract is to create a narrow network
product that will lower the overall cost of care, and improve quality and member experience. There are two network offerings; Puget Sound High Value Network, and UW Medicine ACO. Puget Sound High Value Network consists of Edmonds Family Practice, EHP, Multicare, Virginia Mason, and Seattle Children’s. Overlake will participate in the HCA contract and is considering being part of the PSHVN. We anticipate taking full risk for approximately 5,000 lives across the entirety of the network.
